 2008 Spring Cookout was a huge success. God blessed us with the 50 member youth mission team from 1st Baptist Church of Jonesboro, Georgia, who passed out fliers, set up tables and chairs, cooked the food, gave their testimonies, played with the children, provided entertainment and cleaned the area after everyone else was gone. The photo to the right shows part of the large crowd that gathered for cokes, hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans and chips. (See the other photos below.) |

Good Music from an Old Friend |

The Reverend Debbie Allen is always kind enough to bless us with some good old fashioned gospel music. The crowd enjoyed singing along to such favorites as Victory in Jesus, The Presence of the Lord is Here and many other foot stompers. They kept her going for nearly two hours and loved every minute of it.
